Billing & AR Services
Managed Service

From charge to cash, handled by one team.

Billing is where good visits lose money quietly: a charge that was never entered, a rejection nobody saw, a denial that missed its appeal window, a balance the patient cannot make sense of. Billing & AR Services puts our team on that work every day, running on Revenue Operations and Claims Intelligence. We match charges to the schedule, scrub and submit claims, fix clearinghouse rejections the same day, appeal denials with the record attached, follow up open AR by aging bucket, post payments against the remit, and answer patient balance questions. Coverage checks and coding are separate services. Keep them in house, or add Eligibility Verification Services and Coding Services when you want one team on the whole cycle.

What it does

Inside Billing & AR Services

Every capability below exists because a practice asked for it. Nothing here is a roadmap item.

1.1

Charges matched to the schedule

Every encounter on the schedule is matched to a charge. Visits that were seen but never billed are found the same week, not at year end.

1.2

Clean claims, sent daily

Claims are checked against payer edits before they leave. Clearinghouse rejections are corrected the same day instead of aging in a queue.

1.3

Denials and appeals

Claims Intelligence groups denials by reason and payer. Our team corrects and resubmits, or appeals with the record attached, inside each payer’s filing window.

1.4

AR followed up by owner

Open accounts are worked by aging bucket, and every account has a named owner. Nothing sits because it belongs to no one.

1.5

Posting and patient balances

Payments and adjustments are posted against the remit and checked against your contracted rates. Patient balance questions get a plain answer, not another statement.

1.6

One lead, one monthly review

A named billing lead runs a weekly session on open AR and a monthly review of denial causes, and sends the fixes back to registration, documentation, or coding.

In context

One claim, followed from charge to payment

Each step on one record: what happened, who closed it, and where the claim stands now. The example shown is illustrative, not real patient data.

How it works

From the schedule to the signed record

First

Assess

We review your AR aging, denial reasons, payer mix, and how billing is set up today, then tell you where the money is getting stuck.

Then

Transition

Clearinghouse connection, existing AR sorted, and a cutover date agreed with whoever bills today. Claims keep moving during the handover.

Then

Work it daily

Charges, claims, rejections, denials, AR, and posting worked every day by our team, with every worklist visible to you.

Finally

Fix upstream

The monthly review turns repeat denials into specific fixes, so the same claim does not fail the same way twice.

By design

Facts, not promises.

These are properties of how Billing & AR Services is built, not projected savings. Results in your practice depend on your payers, your panel, and your documentation.

Who it is for

A good fit when…

  • Practices and groups where billing is split across staff who each own one piece of it
  • Organizations carrying aged AR and repeat denials they cannot get ahead of
  • Groups that lost a biller and do not want to rebuild the function
  • Management services organizations standardizing billing across practices

See Billing & AR Services on your own workflow.

Tell us what your organization is fighting (open care gaps, documentation, denials, coverage) and we will walk you through the part of the platform that closes it.
